Holders gain exposure to the U.S. dollar (USD) through a token soft-pegged at one USD, backed mainly by USD Coin (USDC) deployed into delta-neutral strategies that pair spot and Jupiter Liquidity Provider (JLP) collateral with offsetting short perpetuals, capturing trading fees and funding-rate payments. USDu is issued through open-source smart contracts deployed by Unipay Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-incorporated entity governed by Singapore law; it is not issued by a single corporate entity but operates as a decentralized protocol, and Unitas names no regulator and states USDu is not a bank deposit nor government-insured. [S2][S5][S4] Direct mint and redeem are restricted to whitelisted participants; users must be 18, and residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, and U.S. New York State are excluded. Unitas USDu (USDu) is a U.S. dollar stablecoin issued by Unitas Labs.

Each token is redeemable one-for-one for U.S. dollars and is a collateral-backed contractual exposure rather than a direct claim on the issuer.

Reserves are held in crypto assets, in accounts segregated from the issuer's own funds.

They sit with Ceffu and Copper, attested weekly by HT Digital.

Institutions can mint and redeem directly with Unitas Labs in USDC, SOL, ETH, WBTC, and JLP, and holders have a contractual right to redeem at par.

USDu has been issued on public blockchains since May 2025 and is native to Solana and BNB Chain.
