Transactions on tomatochain pay gas in TTC; the chain is positioned as the settlement layer for payments and services across the Tomato Group ecosystem.

tomatochain is an EVM-compatible Avalanche L1 (chain ID 77294) that the project describes as offering 4,500+ TPS, very low fees and unlimited scalability.

tomatochain is operated by the Tomato Group, a South Korean business group, and its native token TTC (Tongtongcoin) serves as the base currency of the group's ecosystem.
