EURT, issued by Tether International, S.A. de C.V., is a euro-pegged stablecoin that represents a contractual right to redeem at a value pegged one-to-one to the euro (EUR), backed 100% by the issuer's reserves rather than a deposit or segregated asset. [S1][S2]

Each EURT token tracks the euro (EUR) at a one-to-one peg and is backed 100% by Tether's reserves, which include cash and cash equivalents and are recorded on Tether's transparency page with periodic attestation reports. [S1] In the Primary Market, Tether charges 0.1% per acquisition, a redemption fee of the greater of $1,000 or 0.1%, and a non-refundable 150 USD verification fee. [S4]

Tether International, S.A. de C.V. is an El Salvador Sociedad Anónima de Capital Variable, having redomiciled from the British Virgin Islands effective January 27, 2025, and is authorised as a Stablecoin Issuer and Digital Assets Service Provider subject to the National Commission of Digital Assets (CNAD) of El Salvador. [S1] Tokenholders hold a contractual redemption right, not fiat, legal tender, or an FDIC- or SIPC-protected, segregated asset. [S1] Acquisition requires KYC/AML/CTF verification and excludes Prohibited Persons, including U.S. Persons, Canadian Persons, and sanctioned parties. EURT is issued onchain across supported public networks, including Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Avalanche, Algorand, EOS, Liquid Network, Near, Polkadot, Tezos, Celo, Cosmos, and Ton. [S2] Tether mints tokens only when KYC-verified customers purchase them in the Primary Market and receives fiat, transferring equivalent tokens and removing tokens from circulation by burning upon redemption.
