SBI Shinsei Trust Bank is a Japanese trust bank within SBI Group. It issues JPYSC, a Japanese yen stablecoin classified as an electronic payment instrument under Japan's Payment Services Act, for which the bank holds the reserve assets in a segregated trust account.

JPYSC (JPYSC) is a Japanese Yen stablecoin issued by SBI Shinsei Trust Bank through SBI新生信託銀行株式会社.

Each token is redeemable one-for-one for Japanese Yen and is a direct claim on the issuer.

Reserves are held in bank deposits and Treasury bills, in segregated accounts within a bankruptcy-remote structure.

They sit with SBI Shinsei Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. (SBI新生信託銀行株式会社).

Retail investors and institutions can mint and redeem directly with SBI Shinsei Trust Bank in JPY after completing KYC, and holders have a contractual right to redeem at par.

SBI新生信託銀行株式会社 is registered under Japan's crypto-asset regime.

Holder terms are governed by the law of Japan.

JPYSC has been issued on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token since June 2026.
