JMWH, issued by Universal Demeter Limited, is a tokenized energy commodity asset that represents one megawatt-hour (MWh) of real energy, backed by renewable-energy production and deployed through the Justoken platform [S1][S2].

Each JMWH token represents one real megawatt-hour (MWh) of energy backed by real energy assets, framed by the issuer as a financial digital asset with verifiable digital collateral [S1][S3]. The flagship energy product, marketed as Enertoken, was launched via the YPF Luz partnership tokenizing more than USD 800 million in energy assets, supporting transactions, accountability, and green energy traceability [S1][S2].

Universal Demeter Limited operates Justoken as a global real-world asset tokenization platform for commodities, energy, and natural resources, publicly associated with Buenos Aires, Argentina [S1][S3]. The issuer characterizes its tokens as digital representations of real-world assets turned into financial digital assets with verifiable digital collateral [S1][S3]. Energy product materials reference regulated assets, auditability, and regulatory compliance generically, while the issuer cites Argentina's securities regulator, the Comisión Nacional de Valores (CNV), only for its separate tokenized financial fund line [S3][S2].

Justoken names the XRP Ledger (XRPL), a public Layer-1 blockchain, as the network for the JMWH energy product deployed through the YPF Luz partnership [S1][S2]. The issuer describes end-to-end infrastructure for tokenizing, monitoring, trading, and financing real-world assets, from origination to liquidation, linking tokens to verifiable real-world data through blockchain, geospatial intelligence, and AI [S1][S2].

Tokenized commodities

The platform operates through smart contracts that represent physical commodity units (e.g., one token = one metric ton of soybeans), with custody and verification provided by regulated third parties. Revenue is generated through tokenization and management fees for institutional commodity financing and trading.

Justoken tokenizes physical commodities including soybeans, corn, cotton, soybean oil, and energy into blockchain-based digital assets, primarily on Polygon. The platform combines blockchain infrastructure with geospatial intelligence and AI for end-to-end asset tokenization, monitoring, and financing, focusing on Latin American agriculture and energy markets.

Justoken (formerly Agrotoken) is an enterprise-grade Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization platform based in the United Kingdom.
