Each DSC token is backed 1:1 by a single physical Coin holding an optimized statistical sample of roughly eight to nine GIA and/or IGI certified natural diamonds, 0.18 to 0.74 carat, D to L color and Flawless to SI2 clarity [S4][S1][S2]. Value follows the daily DIAMINDX index price; the commodity generates no income, dividends, or accrual [S1][S3]. Holders bear an annual custody fee of $240, delivery fees of $75 to $100, and a 3.5% exchange fee [S2].

Diamond Standard Ltd. is a digital assets business licensed in Bermuda by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) under a Class M license per the Digital Asset Business Act 2018 [S5][S6]. The issuer structures its offering as a physical commodity and states its offerings and trading are not regulated by any securities regulators [S1][S2]. The token is an electronic document of title, or vault receipt, to the diamond commodity [S1][S2]. Purchasers need not be accredited but must pass KYC and AML review; sanctioned jurisdictions are excluded and physical delivery is limited to the U.S. and Canada [S2]. DSC is a standard fungible token issued on the Hedera network using the Hedera Token Service [S2][S7]. A single token is created per commodity and becomes transactable only once the Bar is authenticated and received by an approved custodian such as Brinks, Loomis, or Malca-Amit [S1][S2][S3]. Transfers settle on Hedera within three to five seconds, with daily pricing referenced from the DIAMINDX index published on Bloomberg and LSEG [S7][S3].
