Built on Soroban smart contracts, it enables decentralized trading and liquidity management through on-chain pools. Users can lock AQUA tokens to receive ICE tokens, which provide LP reward boosts and governance voting power to influence protocol decisions.

The protocol provides automated market maker (AMM) pools for liquidity provision and token swaps, distributing AQUA token rewards to liquidity providers, SDEX market makers, and governance participants.

Aquarius is a DeFi protocol built on Stellar's Soroban platform that started as a liquidity incentivization layer in 2021 and evolved into a proprietary AMM solution for decentralized liquidity provision.
