What is Ripe Protocol?
Ripe Protocol is a lending protocol on Robinhood Chain where users borrow the GREEN stablecoin against tokenized stocks.
How does Ripe Protocol work?
Borrowers deposit tokenized stocks and borrow GREEN, a dollar stablecoin, paying origination fees and interest. Those fees and interest raise the value of sGREEN, which depositors of GREEN hold. Liquidation and keeper fees apply when a position is liquidated.
Who governs Ripe Protocol?
RIPE tokenholders govern the protocol by locking RIPE for voting power, up to 3x. Onchain voting is not yet live.
