CADC, issued by Paytrie AB Inc., is a centralized fiat-backed stablecoin that maintains a 1:1 peg to the Canadian dollar (CAD) and is fully collateralized by CAD reserves held with a Canadian financial institution. [S1][S2]

Each CADC token represents a redeemable claim for one Canadian dollar (CAD), backed by a reserve of CAD held in a bank account in Canada that may in future include cash equivalents being liquid securities with original maturity of 90 days or less. [S3] PayTrie charges a 0.05% fee to mint and redeem, subject to a minimum fee of $2, plus a network gas fee on ERC-20 transactions. [S4]

The issuer is Paytrie AB Inc., a Canadian money services business registered with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) under MSB registration number M19690633. [S5][S1] PayTrie discloses that no Canadian securities regulatory authority has expressed an opinion on CAD Coin and that it determined CADC is unlikely to be a security or derivative under Canadian securities legislation. [S1] Identity verification is required through Express or Manual Verification. CADC is issued natively on Ethereum using the ERC-20 token standard and is also available on Polygon, Arbitrum, and Base.
