Overview
What is Mycelium?
Mycelium is a non-custodial exchange for spot and perpetual contracts built on Arbitrum. Mycelium was founded by Ash Morgan, Pat McNab, Ray Mogg & Jack Deeb, and launched in 2021. Mycelium DAO has ceased operations, and a governance proposal has passed allowing token holders to burn MYC to redeem Mycelium treasury assets.
How does Mycelium work?
Liquidity providers deposit funds into Mycelium and receive trading fees from traders (supply-side fees).
Who governs Mycelium?
MYC tokenholders own and govern the protocol. They currently take a cut of the total trading fees paid by traders (revenue).
