Supply-side fees represent the portion of transaction fees that are distributed to network validators as compensation for securing and operating the Injective protocol. This metric answers the question "How much revenue do validators earn from processing transactions on Injective?"
Injective operates as a dual-architecture blockchain with both Cosmos SDK and EVM environments, each using different fee models. The calculation combines fees from both architectures, applying different attribution rules: Cosmos transactions contribute 100% of fees to validators, while EVM transactions follow the EIP-1559 model where only priority fees go to validators (base fees are burned as protocol revenue).Learn more
