What is Evmos?
Evmos is a Ethereum compatible smart contract platform for decentralized applications (a blockchain). Evmos was founded by Federico Kunze Küllmer, Akash Khosla, and Nic Z and launched in 2015.
How does Evmos work?
Validators process transactions and receive fees from users (supply-side fees).
Who governs Evmos?
EVMOS holders own and govern the protocol. They currently do not take a cut of the total transaction fees paid by users (revenue). Ethereum’s investors include Polychain Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Circle Ventures, etc.
