Liquid staking

Stakers deposit SOL into the dfdvSOL stake pool and receive dfdvSOL, whose exchange rate against SOL rises as the underlying stake earns rewards. The pool takes a 2.5% epoch fee on staking rewards, and holders can redeem dfdvSOL through Sanctum for the underlying staked SOL plus rewards.

dfdvSOL is a liquid staking token on Solana issued by DeFi Development Corp using Sanctum's single-validator stake pool technology. Deposited SOL is staked to a validator operated by DeFi Development Corp, and depositors hold dfdvSOL as the liquid receipt.

DeFi Development Corp is a Nasdaq-listed company (ticker DFDV) whose principal treasury asset is SOL. It operates the Solana validator that dfdvSOL stakes to.
