Catnip
Overview
What is Catnip?
Catnip is a constant-product exchange with farming and NIP staking on Robinhood Chain.
How does Catnip work?
Each swap hop pays a 0.30% LP fee to liquidity providers. Farm emissions are mostly paid to LP farmers in NIP, with 875K of each 5.25M scheduled in the first phases going to protocol funds. Staked NIP is held as xNIP, whose NIP value grows as protocol fees are added.
Who governs Catnip?
NIP stakers (xNIP holders) take a share of protocol fees.
