TXPT, issued by Aurus Markets DMCC, is a digital token representing physical platinum, where each token corresponds to one gram of metal held in vaults and redeemable for physical platinum products [S1][S2].

Each TXPT token tracks the price of Platinum on a fixed weight basis of one gram per token, with physical reserves held in audited and insured vaults sourced from accredited refineries across multiple verified locations [S1][S2]. AURUS advertises low transaction fees and zero storage costs for holders of its metal-backed tokens, though protocol fees are collected on minting, burning, and transfers of the metal tokens, denominated in cGOLD tokens [S2][S3].

The token is provided by Aurus Markets DMCC, a free-zone entity registered in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre in the United Arab Emirates [S4]. The holder's claim is expressed as one gram of physical platinum per token, stored in vaults via partnered bullion providers and redeemable for physical metal products such as coins and bars offered through trusted bullion brokers [S2][S5]. Metal is held in insured and audited vaults across multiple verified locations [S2].

The metal tokens are presented as multi-chain, with Ethereum, Polygon, and Base referenced on the product pages [S2]. Tokens are minted and burned on the platform against physical metal reserves, with reserve and supply consistency intended to be verified through a Chainlink Proof-of-Reserves system [S2][S3].
