vUSD, issued by Valos and tokenized by Accountable, is a tokenized diversified credit vault interest that deploys stablecoin capital into real-world asset-backed lending strategies, with each token representing proportional ownership of the vault's net asset value [S1].

Holders receive vault shares whose price starts at 1.00 and appreciates as the vault earns yield from external real-world asset-backed lending sources, returning principal plus accrued yield together at withdrawal rather than as separate distributions [S2][S3]. Because pricing follows DVN-attested NAV updates, the share price can increase or decrease, and principal is not guaranteed [S1][S3]. Holders bear configurable performance fees charged on accrued yield above a high-water mark, plus any management, establishment, or prepayment fees, all minted as shares [S1][S2].

Holders' claims take the form of vault shares representing proportional ownership of the vault [S2]. Access is configured per vault across permissionless, whitelisting, and KYC models, with eligible jurisdictions selectable and restricted territories blockable, and Accountable performing KYC and AML on the vault manager [S4][S1]. Redemption follows an asynchronous request-and-fulfill withdrawal queue with fair first-in-first-out ordering and fulfillment-time pricing; instant fulfillment occurs where liquidity is sufficient, otherwise requests process as liquidity permits [S1][S5]. No deposit insurance or loss-protection mechanism applies, and principal is not guaranteed [S2][S3].

Vault shares are ERC-4626 tokens extended with the ERC-7540 standard for asynchronous deposit and redemption, issued natively on Monad and supported across Ethereum and Arbitrum [S6][S1]. Shares mint on deposit through the vault contract and redeem via the withdrawal queue at fulfillment-time NAV, with total assets computed from vault, deployed, and accrued-penalty components and published by a DVN publisher [S1][S3].
