SuperRare is a non-custodial NFT marketplace protocol built on Ethereum. SuperRare was founded by John Crain, Charles Crain, and Jonathan Perkins and launched in 2018.

RARE tokenholders own and govern the protocol. They currently take a cut of the total transaction fees paid by buyers (revenue). SuperRare’s investors include Velvet Sea Ventures, 1confirmation, SamsungNext, etc.
