What is Origin DeFi?
Origin DeFi is a stablecoin issuer and asset management protocol built on Ethereum. Origin DeFi was founded by Josh Fraser & Matthew Liu and launched in 2017.How does Origin DeFi work?
Users mint OUSD by depositing dollar-pegged stablecoins, and OETH by depositing liquid staking tokens or ETH. Deposited funds get deployed into different yield farming strategies voted by OGV stakers. Users then receive a return on investment (supply-side fees). OUSD & OETH holders also receive the 0.25% exit fee from OUSD & OETH redeems.Who governs Origin DeFi?
OGV tokenholders own and govern the protocol. They currently take a 20% cut of the total yield generated by the protocol (revenue).The values in this graphic are examples and do not reflect actual values. Treat them as approximations.
