Dymension is a Cosmos SDK based smart contract platform for decentralized applications (a blockchain). Dymension was founded by Yishay Harel, etc. and launched in 2024.

How does Dymension work?

Validators process transactions and receive fees from users. Liquidity providers deposit funds and receive trading fees from users (supply-side fees).

Who governs Dymension?

DYM holders own and govern the protocol. They currently take a cut of the total swap fees and all bridge fees paid by users (revenue). Dymension’s investors include Big Brain Holdings, Stratos, Matchbox DAO, etc.
