YO operates through smart contracts that automatically rebalance user deposits across selected DeFi protocols based on risk-adjusted yield metrics. The protocol uses Exponential.fi's protocol ratings to assess risk and optimize allocations. Users simply deposit their assets (such as USDC into yoUSD), and the protocol handles continuous rebalancing across chains and protocols. The platform is non-custodial and community-governed, with community members selecting which underlying protocols are included in the vaults.

The platform provides automated yield optimization through its multi-chain yield engine that tracks yields across different DeFi protocols and blockchains. YO offers vault products like yoUSD that allocate user deposits across multiple protocols, ensuring assets are always positioned in the most optimal yield opportunities while maintaining risk-adjusted returns.

YO (Yield Optimizer) is a decentralized yield optimization platform that operates as a secure multi-chain protocol, continuously rebalancing assets to deliver the best risk-adjusted yield in DeFi.
