Users mint USDu against over-collateralized, delta-neutral positions (spot holdings hedged with short perpetuals); staking USDu returns sUSDu, which accrues yield from funding rates, fees, and trading PnL.

Unitas Labs is a Solana-based yield-infrastructure protocol that issues USDu, a yield-bearing stablecoin soft-pegged to the US dollar, and sUSDu, its savings token.

Unitas Labs is the team behind USDu. Disclosed backers include Amber Group, SevenX Ventures, MEV Capital, and the Stanford Blockchain Builders Fund (~$3M pre-seed in 2025, ~$13.33M seed in 2026).
