The platform operates through a community-driven development model where players use integrated creation tools to design game content, which is then monetized through a marketplace system that rewards creators when their content is downloaded and played. The business model combines traditional gaming revenue with a creator economy that incentivizes player participation through tokenized rewards and esports competition infrastructure.

The project creates a fast-paced PvPvE hero shooter built on Unreal Engine 5, featuring player-generated content including heroes, maps, and game modes that become permanent parts of the game. Players earn real rewards when their creations are used by others, supported by the "Riven" companion app that tracks contributions and distributes incentives across the gaming ecosystem.

Helium Wars is a gaming studio developing a competitive hero shooter that pioneered the co-created gaming model where players actively participate in game development and content creation.
