The platform operates using a hybrid architecture that provides gas-free trading, minimal taker fees, and competitive maker rebates while maintaining full user self-custody of assets. Extended leverages advanced trading infrastructure to deliver centralized exchange-level performance with decentralized finance transparency, targeting both retail and professional traders seeking institutional-grade features without sacrificing asset control.

Extended operates a hybrid exchange that merges the user experience and speed of centralized exchanges like Coinbase or Binance with the self-custody and transparency benefits of decentralized exchanges. The platform offers lightning-fast trading with up to 50x leverage, sub-10ms latency, diverse markets, and advanced order types while eliminating frontrunning and MEV extraction. Extended plans to integrate comprehensive fiat infrastructure supporting card payments and bank transfers for seamless crypto-to-fiat transactions.

Extended is a hybrid cryptocurrency exchange founded by ex-Revolut team members with expertise in fintech products and high-performance trading infrastructure. The company raised $6.5 million in funding to build a trading platform that combines centralized exchange features with decentralized finance capabilities.
