# Bankr Tradable Assets Methodology

## 1. Overview

Bankr tradable assets is the cumulative count of distinct tokens appearing in Bankr launch pools on Robinhood Chain. Each Bankr pool pairs two tokens (typically WETH and a newly launched token); this metric counts every distinct token across both legs of all Bankr-hook pools, as of each day. Pools are identified by the Bankr launch hook (`0x4e3468951d49f2eea976ed0d6e75ffcb44a9a544`). Because both legs are counted, the asset count runs slightly above the pair count.

## 2. Data sources

- **Uniswap V4 pool initializations**: Decoded `PoolManager_Initialize_event` records on Robinhood Chain
- **Token metadata**: Token decimals and symbols, for the pool dimension

## 3. Step-by-step calculation

### Component A: Bankr pool dimension
- **Purpose**: Enumerate every Bankr launch pool with its two token legs and creation time
- **Logic**: Filters initialization events to the Bankr launch hook; resolves `token0`/`token1` (native-token sentinels remapped to WETH)
- **Key fields**: `token0_address`, `token1_address`, `block_timestamp`

### Component B: Token union and first appearance
- **Purpose**: Reduce to distinct tokens on their first-seen day
- **Logic**: Unions both token legs into one token column, then takes the minimum day per token, so each token counts once, on the day it first appeared in any Bankr pool
- **Key fields**: `token_address`, `timestamp` truncated to day

### Component C: Daily new-asset count and cumulative sum
- **Purpose**: Turn first appearances into a running total
- **Logic**: Counts distinct new tokens per day, zero-fills empty days, then takes a cumulative window sum ordered by day
- **Key fields**: `asset_count` per day, cumulative `tradeable_assets`

### Final aggregation
- **Combining components**: The cumulative daily series flows into the tradeable_assets metric model
- **Time aggregation**: Daily UTC boundaries
- **Final calculation**: The metric equals the cumulative distinct tokens across both legs of Bankr launch pools as of each day, carried forward through `finalize_metric_tradeable_assets` (forward fill; the cumulative count never decreases) and chain availability filtering applied
