A project is whoever runs things: the protocol or company behind one or more live apps. An app is one deployed version a project runs, such as uniswap-v3 or hyperliquid-perps.

Pages

Registry

Project and app identity, market sectors, operators.

Metrics

Fees, revenue, trading volume, bridge volume and usage at four levels.

Projects, apps and chains

The same measure is published at four levels: app on one chain, app, project on one chain, project. Where a measure adds up, the broader figure is the narrower figures added together, so the levels always agree; Metrics carries the four tables. Where a project runs a blockchain, that blockchain is a chain rather than an app: gas paid on the network lands in the project-and-chain table beside the trading fees the project’s apps earned. Hyperliquid works this way, with trading fees from its perps and spot apps and gas from its HyperEVM chain. Chains covers the chain side.
