### Who uses it

The Hashcats developer takes a share of protocol revenue. The rest buys back and burns the HASH token.

### How it works

A cat is minted only when a machine finds a hash below the target. Each mint pays rent to existing cats, and the hook takes a trading fee on the HASH pool and a royalty on secondary sales. 70% of protocol earnings buy back and burn HASH.
