### What it is

Fomo offers perpetual contracts on crypto, US equities, pre-IPO companies, indices and commodities through Hyperliquid's native markets and HIP-3 markets such as trade.xyz, alongside spot trading of memecoins and other tokens. The app is available on iOS, Android and the web at fomo.family.

### Who uses it

Fomo is a mobile-first social trading app built by FOMO Labs, Inc., founded in 2025 by former dYdX employees. It combines a social feed, leaderboards and copy trading with self-custodial, gasless token swaps on Solana, Robinhood Chain, Base, BNB Chain and Monad, and since June 2026 perpetual futures executed on Hyperliquid. Fomo is operated as a private company; no token has been issued.

### How it works

Fomo earns a fee on every trade placed through the app. On perpetuals it acts as a Hyperliquid builder: each order placed from the app carries Fomo's builder code, and Hyperliquid routes a 0.05% builder fee per side to Fomo's builder address at trade time, on top of the venue's own fee and any HIP-3 deployer share. On spot swaps Fomo charges a platform fee collected in its own fee wallets; on cross-chain swaps routed through Relay, Relay collects Fomo's app fee and settles it as USDC to Fomo's fee collector on Base.
