# Accounts

An account is a wallet or a contract, such as an exchange wallet or a Uniswap pool. The accounts registry labels each one with the project that owns it, so a raw address in any Sei EVM table resolves to a name. The [Accounts](/docs/catalog/accounts/index) section documents the tables; the Sei EVM rows filter with `chain_id = 'seievm'`.
